“Hold the sugar, please. You’re sweet enough for me.”

“Hold the sugar, please. You’re sweet enough for me.”

“Hold the sugar, please. You’re sweet enough for me.” by jachanothergirl featuring Juliska

Apparently, people get asked on dates in cafes.

Well, here is an outfit and some pick-up lines to make your dates successful.

“The barista may have forgotten your name… but I sure haven’t.”

“I can feel something brewing between the two of us.”

“I like the way you espresso yourself.”

“My coffee is really hot. But you’re hotter.”

“Hello there, how do you brew?”

Character Show:The Other Daughters of Triton--Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Attina, Adella, Alana

The Other Daughters of Triton: Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Attina, Adella, Alana

The Other Daughters of Triton: Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Attina, Adella, Alana by jachanothergirl featuring dark chocolate truffles

Ah, we are the daughters of Triton
Great father who loves us and named us well
Aquata, Andrina, Arista, Attina, Adella, Alana
And then there is the youngest in her musical debut
Our seventh little sister, we're presenting her to you
To sing a song Sebastian wrote
Her voice is like a bell
She's our sister, Ari--

The other daughters of Triton are under appreciated, even by the Disney animators. Unlike Ariel, their closet appears to be monochromatic garish hues. I imagine if the other daughters of Tritons were wandering around the rare isolated beaches--their outfits would resemble the polyvore set. Furthermore, candles would have been a definite obsession of these mermaids. Think about it, how did the depths of the oceans remain so illuminated?

I have also included details about the other daughters of Triton below:

Attina (Oldest Daughter): A responsible perfectionist classical harpist
Alana: A glamorous if not superficial jazz musician who plays tambourine (Yes, I am also confused)
Aquata:A obsessive-compulsive and slightly insecure rock n' roll drummer
Arista: An energetic and slightly absent-minded saxophonist with an appreciation for calypso music
Adella: A romantic if a bit thirsty violinist of romantic ballads
Andrina:A witty hedonistic pop guitarist

Which daughter is your favorite?

Jach Cries Over Spilt Gasoline

Don't Cry Over Spilt Gasoline

Don't Cry Over Spilt Gasoline by jachanothergirl featuring an urban decay eye shadow

I actually enjoy the smell of gasoline, which is startling--I am sure that some of you are now assuming that I was the elementary student that was sniffing and possibly eating paste. Well, for the record, I have never consumed paste--which is quite revolting and smells like slightly damp socks.

Gasoline is extremely beautiful over new asphalt. Especially, the contrast between the asphalt's deep black hue and gasoline's holographic nature.

For those who lived through the days of Woodstock, gasoline is, what I imagine, a liquid representation of hallucinogens.

Yes, holographic accents are quite prevalent in forms such as jewelry and the occasional clutch. If we were honest though, we would acknowledge that the outfit (as seen above) is a rare occurrence unless you happen to be thrashing to electronic dance music (Aoki, Diplo, Adventure Club, Flume, Banks, or The Chainsmokers). Nowadays, it takes a deep immense amount of courage to pound the pavements in any solid holographic print.

“ANYTHING will burn with enough gasoline and dynamite.” --Robert Heinlein

“The inside of the old Camaro smelled like asphalt and desire, gasoline and dreams.” --Maggie Stiefvater

Listen to the Dragon Lady

Listen to the Dragon Lady by jachanothergirl featuring a water pitcher

My mother is quite the combination between Hatsumomo and Mameha (Memoirs of a Geisha):

An impulsive (and often selfish) creature that employed quite strict guidelines on posture, manners, and skincare. For the modern lady, my mother was adamant that I...

-Brown Sugar
-SK II

One a day, will keep the wrinkles (and age spots) away:

Jach Looks For Sunshine in the Earl Grey Tea

Sunshine in the Earl Grey Tea

Sunshine in the Earl Grey Tea by jachanothergirl featuring yellow throw pillows

In a New England town, bubble tea is a five-dollar luxury. Therefore, in an effort to pinch pennies, I drink the poorman's bubble tea--early grey, two packets of splenda, and a splash of milk. Besides, the color grey is pure nostalgia for the northwestern steel skies and chromium accented apartment lofts.

“While her lips talked culture, her heart was planning to invite him to tea”
-E.M. Forster
“Some people will tell you there is a great deal of poetry and fine sentiment in a chest of tea.”
-Ralph Emerson

“I shouldn't think even millionaires could eat anything nicer than new bread and real butter and honey for tea.”
-Dodie Smith

The KingFisher Arrives at Jach's Court

The KingFisher Arrives at Court

The KingFisher Arrives at Court by jachanothergirl featuring scented candles

The outfit speaks for itself. Also, would there even be a possible logical explanation?

A brief note on Kingfishers:

-They have bright and eclectic plumage.
-There are around a hundred species of these diminutive birds.
-The Dusun in Borneo view the kingfisher as a ominous warning.
-Kingfishers, the title is derived from the Greek legend of the appearance of Halcyons.
-Polynesians once believed that the kingfisher held power over the seas and waves.
-They are often found in tropical zones, although sometimes in the occasional forest.

“I'm an oddity of one, my strangeness too complicated to explain or share.”
-Libra Bray

“My care is like my shadow in the sun,
Follows me flying, flies when I pursue it,
Stands and lies by me, doth what I have done.”
-Elizabeth Tudor

“Darkness always had its part to play. Without it, how would we know when we walked in the light? It’s only when its ambitions become too grandiose that it must be opposed, disciplined, sometimes—if necessary—brought down for a time. Then it will rise again, as it must.”
